By now you’ve probably heard about our new telepsychiatry service. If you haven’t, check out our last two blog posts for the introduction to telepsychiatry and the FAQ’s. Although you’d think this was something dreamed up in the Jetsons, Star Trek, or one of the old B-grade sci-fi movies, telemedicine has been around for over 40 years, starting initially with the phone and is now rapidly spreading through the Internet.
It’s all about making complicated things easier and it’s why we exist. Treating mental health is all about making complicated things easier. Instead of going all over town and accumulating forms and paperwork for all sorts of appointments and organizations, we do the lion’s share of the busy work so that you can get the service you need more effectively and more efficiently.
