David Savoie, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

David Savoie is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He received his Master’s of Science in Nursing degree from the University of South Alabama in Mobile. David began his nurse practitioner career from an 8-year nursing background that originated in critical care and transitioned to psychiatric care and emergency nursing. The years spent working at inpatient mental health facilities as a registered nurse helped Mr. Savoie become familiar with the different symptoms and diagnoses he treats today. David is a current member of multiple professional organizations for advanced practice providers and psychiatric professionals.

While he specializes in pharmacotherapy, David likes to ensure that his patients are putting their best efforts into all the necessary places of their lives including but not limited to: Spirituality, family and friends, and optimal health, nutrition, and exercise.

David is a resident of Carencro, LA with his wife and three children. He enjoys family time, reading, cooking, and being outdoors.
