Kayla Watson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Kayla N. Watson, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC is a native New Orleanian and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of Frontier Nursing University with a Master’s of Science in Nursing She has a vast background in nursing with over 9.5 years of experience. During her nursing career, Kayla specialized in acute care inpatient behavioral health and Abdominal Transplant.

Kayla believes that mental health is just as important as physical health and it is often neglected. Each situation is unique to the individual and her goal as a Board Certified PMHNP is to help her clients get back to their level of normality.

As a PMHNP she is able to assess, diagnosis, and treat mental health and substance use disorders utilizing psychopharmacology, educational tools, and client specific treatment plans.

When Kayla is not working, she enjoys working in her yard, DIY projects, spa days, and spending time with her family and friends
