The Difference Quality Care Makes

New Office

At PTI we pride ourselves for our client-centered, compassionate care.

We’ve been working hard making sure that we deliver the best quality product for those whom we serve.  That’s because when we drop the ball, we are aware of the impact and the cost, which is much more than time and money.  It means delayed treatment, prolonged disability, and disengagement from the community.  All across the country, there is a need for quality mental health providers and we strive to be the best.

Mental illness is the leading cause of disability worldwide, which means that individuals who suffer from mental illness are often the most excluded from meaningful community and are hindered from living a quality life.  Although there are stacks of papers and books written about evidence-based practices for mental health recovery, it’s the timely implementation of those practices and guidelines that leads to success.

There are substantial gaps in many areas for high quality services that provide mental health screening and detection, treatment, and follow-up care.  Those are all things that we do and in which we excel.  We are able to do most basic services and therapy in-house, which means you don’t have to drive across town seeing different doctors and you don’t have to fill out the same paperwork over and over again.

Combatting Stigmas Surrounding Mental Health

We’re also aware of the stigma which mental illness carries and the impact that stigma has on the individual needing treatment.  The sooner someone comes in for screening and assessment, followed by a solid treatment plan, the better the recovery process will be for everyone involved.  That’s why we’ve hired our new medical director, Dr. Leanne Truehart.  She has proven experience in raising awareness in the community about mental illness, helping to erase the stigma that surrounds it, and provides quality treatment for her patients.

As we said in previous postings, we don’t really have a secret sauce or a formula other than treating people right.  Our business has been growing only because we are set up for success from a strong foundation of putting every person who walks through our doors at the center of our focus.  Our new location, 190 Greenbriar Blvd. Ste. 102, will be opening on November 17th and we are excited to begin serving the Northshore community and the surrounding area.
